A Fjordland Adventure for Atacama

19 August 2026

Norway's Lofoten Islands, famous for fjords and rorbuer (fishermen cabins). The perfect location for our latest project, Atacama, to explore.

On a recent 1400km tour, organised by White Label Events, the first seven Project Atacama cars took to the roads for their debut outing. If driving around stunning fjords, stopping off at lakeside cabins for some of Norway's finest cuisine, in a car designed for adventure, doesn't get you excited, you're in the wrong place!

Based on the 991 model Porsche 911, the Atacama has been designed with adventure in mind, created to push boundaries and venture well beyond what ordinary road cars are capable of. They certainly looked the part among Norway's dramatic landscapes.

The week long tour began with a 200km loop, setting off from the award winning, Niehku Mountain Villa. Winding coastal roads, incredible fjords, and the occasional fishing village, it was a perfect start, and a common theme on this adventure.

Then, it was on towards the Lofoten Islands, along a coastline route, with panoramic views of the sea and more fjords. From here on in, it was stunning view after stunning view, with more rorbu appearing as the route ventured deeper into the Lofoten archipelago.

With future adventures to come from across the globe, it's just the beginning for the Atacama. Later this year, the first Atacama Club exclusive expedition will take place in Morocco's Atlas Mountains. This trip will mark the beginning of a new way to explore, where others cannot.
